The food critics of The Dough Necessities stopped by St. George's Donuts. They loved what they found, calling our treats the "Top-Rated Donuts in the Midwest.”

Andy starts the video by praising our rich history, spotlighting Katie, who has been making donuts for over 60 years! He spent time talking with our mother-son team, Katie and Nick, hearing the incredible story of how Katie started making donuts with her father at age 16 and how Nick has continued the family's "donut empire" today.

After the interview, Andy went straight to the haul, testing our top donuts.

Taste test highlights:

Glazed: Andy praised the dough, calling it "impeccable," "light and airy fluffy," and one of the best glazed donuts he's ever had.

Cherry cake with cherry icing: This was a huge winner! Andy admitted he usually hates cherry cake donuts, but he awarded St. George's the prize for the best cherry cake donut he'd ever tried, noting the dough actually tasted like real cherry.

Apple fritter: Andy called our fritter "fantastic" and "not doughy," and he could see why it’s known as the best apple fritter in the state of Missouri.

Overall, Andy called St. George's is a "fantastic store" and a nice donut empire that everyone should stop into! He gave our shop an impressive 8.5/10!
